About
Mr. Havercamp has extensive experience in counseling and representing owners, general contractors, and subcontractors on a variety of issues in the construction industry and frequently makes presentations on relevant industry issues to a wide variety of construction and financial professionals. He has been recognized as an expert by his peers in the national publications Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
Mr. Havercamp also counsels and represents businesses, including non-profit and profit corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships, in various areas of general corporate practice, including organizing corporations, negotiating and drafting buy-sell agreements, providing advice and counsel regarding director and officer responsibilities, and assisting businesses on a variety of issues involving enforcement of creditor rights.
Mr. Havercamp has extensive motion and trial experience and has successfully tried and argued cases before the Iowa Supreme Court, Iowa Court of Appeals, Iowa District Court, Illinois Circuit Court, Federal District Court (Northern Iowa and Southern Iowa), and various bankruptcy courts in Iowa and Illinois, as well as various arbitration panels.
